A silvery-haired fellow
Said, at work, one day,
“Son, you’d better get the
Hell out of my way.”
He said, “I just ain’t one
To move around slow
This day grows short – we’ve still
A long way to go.
“This work must be finished
Before setting sun,
We must get a move on
If we’d see it done.
“For me, time is fleeting,
So once more I say,
‘Speed up, or get plumb the
Hell out of my way!’”
